Description
Designed in the 1970s or 80s by American design legend Milo Baughman, this very rare set of nesting tables were produced by Thayer Coggin, the manufacturer for almost every Baughman designed from the era. It is highly likely that these tables were a one-of-a-kind custom order in a wood veneer reserved for his most exclusive items, rosewood. At perfect heights to be sofa + coffee tables, they tables overlap each other for a multitude of orientations and uses. Included pair of upholstered benches allow for dynamic, visually appealing, and practical solutions. When not in use, all four pieces nest under each other, allowing the entire set to be stored in the footprint of the largest table.
Each table has been professionally and expertly restored. This involves sanding by hand to remove the old finish, application of new finish, and multiple coats of clear satin lacquer for enhanced protection and an attractive luster. The tables and benches are in very good, almost like new condition. They are ready to be used in your fine home or office.
