Nebil Zaman is one of the youngest winners of the prestigious Design and Architect (DOGA)
awards. He received the award for 'Best Newcomer' in 2017. Zaman lives and works in Oslo,
Norway. ‘Arbitrary Alteration’ (2020) explores the interrelatedness between function and art.
The table intends for interaction while, at the same time, for reflection upon the relationship
between the material and its manipulation into function. The table has a futuristic, yet sacral
and monumental expression that makes it a truly unique and innovative work. A raw and
unprocessed form defines most of Zaman’s furniture. He works with organic and unpolished
materials, and their alteration with time and use. - More Information
