Description
Neoclassical ebonized Swedish center table, or library table, hand-carved in Second Empire, or Napoleon III style. Will also be an excellent writing table or desk. Original black painted finish, robust turned legs connected by shaped X-stretcher with upright center finial. Hand-carved and painted in the 1860s for an octagonal high domed hall at a Swedish estate. Two tables are available and sold individually, priced $5,800 each. Provenance is available upon purchase.
