"Vitruvian" Bronze Center Table by Nick King

Description
This bronze Vitruvian base was crafted using the lost-wax casting method, a painstaking process that allows the artist to prior create and sculpt his abstract design in wax before he creates the cast. Through a several week period, the artist then smooths and polishes the cast by hand. Nick King is one of the few American living artists who designs and hand-makes bronze art and furniture. Single production, one of a kind table. Perfect scale for foyer/entry table. Base measures 26.5" diameter, 25.5" tall. Shown with 34" diameter glass.
