Pair of French Wood Carved Dolphin Console Tables, Marble Top, Giltwood, Made in France
A Large and Impressive pair of full bodied Dolphin solid wood carved console or pier tables. Each on a curved fine water gilt over clay base having opposing interlaced scaly dolphins on a molded plinth flanking a shell water basin. The base supporting a fine marble of gray, brown and white vein over a finely carved and gilt apron with a large center shell. Each having a mirrored back. Strong and sturdy having long wrought iron braced reverses. A simply stunning pair of wonderfully gilt console tables the likes of which will not be seen again.
Maintaining their original export shipping labels bearing "Made in France."
