Description
The oval and round table is characterised by a solid wood structure with an oval leg which is connected by one or two crosspieces to the two cylindrical legs. The top is in the same wood essence as the structure or combined with a cylindrical column of strong presence available in a selection of marbles and coloured ceramics.

Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo, Spain in 1961. She attended the University of Architecture at Madrid Polytechnic and Milan Polytechnic, where she graduated in 1989 with Achille Castiglioni. In 2001 she opened her own studio working on product design, architecture, and installations. Patricia's works can be seen in various Museums such as MoMA in New York, Les arts decoratifs in Paris and Museum of Design in Zurich among others. She has won several international prizes and awards including “Designer of the decade” for two German magazines. In September 2015 Patricia Urquiola nominated Art Director of Cassina.

Cassina was established in 1927 in the Northern region of Brianza, Italy, an area noted for its skilled artisans and woodworkers. Use and Care: Use a soft cloth to remove surface dust. For stains caused by liquids or oily substances, remove the liquid immediately with an absorbent towel. Then, wipe the entire surface with a cloth moistened with lukewarm water. To avoid scratches, be extremely careful to follow the grain of the top, without rubbing. Always avoid products containing acetone, ammonia, chlorine, solvents, abrasive agents, or furniture wax as they could permanently damage the surface of the product, causing it to become opaque and form halos. With prolonged use, marble surfaces with matte finish tend to naturally hone themselves and return to their polished stone appearance. This is normal behaviour for marble.
