This sleek and sophisticated Mid-Century Modernist Desk with Tapered supports in Ebonized Walnut W/ Nickel X form Pulls is by the esteemed designer Paul Frankl and originates from the United States, Circa 1950. Features a reserved geometric composition in beautifully finished ebonized walnut with characteristic X Form Pulls in polished brass, a motif utilized by Paul Frankl in a number of his coveted furniture designs. A total of three drawers sit beneath the surface of the desk, two deeper drawers along each side of the sitting area with a more shallow drawer in the center. The drawers are inset into the cabinet with smooth rounded edges, appealing to both the eye and the hand. The four supports are subtly tapered downwards, elevating the piece overall and putting the strength of the design and material execution on full display. This desk will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. In Mint Restored Condition.
