This Georgian Enameled & Hand-Painted Portrait Pin W/ 14 Karat Gold Setting is a lovely piece, classical and made with beautiful materials and detailing. This Pin features a portrait of a woman with coiffed hair and Georgian Style Dress, with softened reflections reminiscent of Vermeer's use of light. The top is convex glass affixed with a 14 Karat Gold Prong Setting, outside of which the piece is circumscribed with a braided gold detail, then leading to a scroll form braided detailing accented with sphere and diamond elements adorning and framing the pin, entirely in 14 Karat Gold. Weighs a total of 6 grams. This lovely Pin will style beautifully in a wide array of dress and is a beautiful gem from the 19th Century. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
