Paul McCobb for Lane 'Delineator' Walnut Extension Dining Table with 3 Leaves
-
Description
Made here in the USA by Lane Furniture, this table was designed by Paul McCobb, renowned as an extraordinarily prolific American designer. With a 42" circular top in its smallest form, it extends up to a total 78", which is plenty of seating for eight, or even 10 in a pinch. The walnut grain is warm, dramatic, and pleasant, and the tapered solid walnut legs give this table a light and sturdy look, especially with the stretchers across each pair. The table is held together by a characteristically high quality metal extension mechanism beneath, allowing the table to feel excellently sturdy even with all three included leaves inserted.
In very good vintage and original condition. The color of the table and its leaves match quite well, atypical for a table this old. Nevertheless, we'd be willing to refinish the top upon request for some extra cost.
At this time, we also have six matching McCobb dining chairs. Four side chairs, and two uncommon armchairs, listed separately. -
