Frameless glass table T14, designed in 1973 by Peter Ghyczy, one of his most celebrated designs. This table is part of the series of coffee tables, side tables and dining tables known as the Pioneer Series, his first furniture collection in which he developed a system of fixing glass to metal. This technique used on the tables has become the Ghyczy signature, characterized by the delicate, floating appearance of frameless glass.

Peter Ghyczy was initially known for designing the first polyurethane collection for Vitra and in 1972 he founded his own company GHYCZY and settled in the Netherlands. He was a pioneer in constructions and connections and loved archetypes and symmetrical designs, this table being one of his greatest successes. His designs inspired many designers and became a standard for glass tables.
