Description
This beautiful an rare two-tone modular coffee table was designed by the renowned Danish designer Peter Hvidt in 1952 and produced by the cabinetmaker France & Son in the early 1950s.
The piece is a stunning example of mid-century modern design: The table features a sleek, circular top composed of six modules with three of them with a teak wood finish paired with other three modules in a elegant black finish for a striking two-tone look.
The sectional design allows for easy customization and versatility, making it a perfect addition to any living space. With its rare combination of materials and expert craftsmanship, this coffee table is a true collector's item.
Recently refinished it is in excellent condition and each single table retains its France & Son label.
Each module measures: 65cm wide x 54cm deep x 43cm high.
When arranged as a circle, the side/coffee table measures: 130cm in diameter x 43cm high. -
