Description
Rare and important “Repose” or “Brooding Woman” coffee table with cast bronze female nude on a patinated base with bronze tones, welded cords and glass top by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1970s (signed “Philip Kelvin LaVerne” on base). This work was based on a model who posed for the LaVernes who was having a stressful day. So they captured her emotions for this sculpture.
