Poul Nørreklit Rosewood and Lucite Executive Desk for Sigurd Hansen, Denmark, 1960s
Materials: Rosewood, Lucite, Steel
Executive Desk designed by Poul Nørreklit and produced by Sigurd Hansens Møbelfabrik in Denmark, circa 1960s. The richly grained rosewood top appears to “float” atop a thick frosted Lucite base, offering a bold, sculptural presence. Finished on all sides for freestanding placement.
The desk features four drawers with simple chrome pulls and keyhole with key. Clean lines echo the work of Bodil Kjær and reflect the best of Scandinavian Modern design.
