Description
This is a beautifully detailed satinwood and ebony inlaid mahogany breakfast table that dates to the early 19th century. The table is in overall very good condition, retaining its original brass casters and latch. The fine inlaid satinwood and ebony banding surrounding the the top and edges is in excellent condition. The pedestal and four splayed legs are also finely inlaid. The hexagonal shaft is an indication of quality fabrication. The surface has been beautifully French Polished and is in very good condition. This table would make a wonderful entrance or center table and its smaller proportions would make it adaptable to use as a games table. The table is set to go to its new home and would arrive in time for the holidays.
