Vernacular low table dating to the 19th century, constructed entirely in wood with a broad circular top assembled from individual planks. A substantial outer edge gives the tabletop its pronounced thickness, while four short, slightly splayed legs create a simple and grounded profile. The construction is direct and functional, with the individual boards, joints and structural elements remaining clearly legible.

The surface bears extensive traces of age and use, including variations in tone, open joints, shrinkage cracks, old marks and irregularities throughout the timber. Rather than obscuring its construction, these details emphasize the table's handmade character and the history of the material. Its precise geographic origin and original function are unknown; it is therefore described more broadly as European vernacular furniture. All our rustic furniture has undergone a two-cycle preventive woodworm treatment for long-term care.
