Vernacular coffee table dating to the mid-20th century, constructed in solid oak with a broad circular top and four slightly splayed legs. The substantial tabletop is assembled from multiple sections of timber, with the end grain remaining clearly visible around its thick outer edge. A simple supporting frame beneath the top connects the legs and reinforces the straightforward, functional construction.

The warm oak surface retains visible grain, knots and subtle traces of use, giving character to an otherwise restrained form. Its low proportions and direct construction are characteristic of rustic vernacular furniture, where material and function take precedence over decorative detail. All our rustic furniture has undergone a two-cycle preventive woodworm treatment for long-term care.
