A Large Mid-Century Modern Double Tier Coffee / Cocktail Table in Hand-Crafted Iron, Bronze, Brass, and Copper, signed by Silas Seandel circa 1970. Seandel works are beautiful mysteries of natural materials and form that inspire the soul.. He created this custom table as an original work of art by welding and brazing dissimilar metals together. This process and the finishing of the table with acids and grinding, polishing and buffing imparts its unique rarity, authenticity and lasting beauty. Furthermore, It's double level construction and generous size allows the table to be versatile and multi-functional. It is rare one finds a work of intriguing beauty that is completely functional for everyday use. Dimensions: H 18.25 x W 60 x D 32”; the lower level is 12.5” H, the glass is clear, 1/2” thick on both tiers.
Silas Seandel (born 1937) is an artist who creates sculpture and sculptural furniture in metal and stone. His work is hundreds of corporate and private collections worldwide and was known as the premier metal designer in New York.
