Description
The Apostrophe Coffee Table - A Stamford Modern Studio Original
The Apostrophe Coffee Table is a sculptural study in movement and restraint. Defined by its fluid, asymmetrical silhouette, the design draws inspiration from the elegant curvature of its namesake punctuation mark—subtle, intentional, and quietly expressive.
Handcrafted in Connecticut, the table features a sweeping, architectural wood base finished in rich hardwood, supporting a freeform glass top that appears to float above the structure. The contrast between the organic curvature of the base and the refined transparency of the glass creates a striking balance between solidity and lightness.
The base’s continuous curved plane forms a grounded presence, while the softened glass top enhances the sense of flow and openness. From every angle, the piece feels dynamic yet composed—an understated statement that anchors a room without overwhelming it.
Designed for contemporary interiors, the Apostrophe Coffee Table works beautifully in minimalist, modern, and transitional spaces where sculptural form and material contrast take center stage.
Customization (Bespoke Experience)
The Apostrophe Coffee Table is made to order and fully customizable. Available in a range of hardwoods and finishes—including natural walnut, espresso walnut, blackout oak, black ceruse, and bleached white oak—the base can be tailored to complement your interior palette.
Glass specifications, edge profiles, and dimensions may also be adjusted to suit your project.
