Description
The Medallion Coffee Table - A Stamford Modern Studio Original
The Medallion Coffee Table is a sculptural expression of Stamford Modern’s interpretation of iconic mid-century American design. Defined by its striking radial veneer composition and solid brass center medallion, the piece balances geometry, warmth, and craftsmanship in a form that feels both architectural and timeless.
Handcrafted in Connecticut, the circular top is constructed in quadrant sections that celebrate the natural movement of the wood grain, converging toward a polished brass medallion that anchors the design. The interplay between wood and metal creates a refined focal point—bold yet harmonious.
Finished with a durable, scratch- and water-resistant coating, the Medallion Coffee Table is built for modern living while honoring the enduring proportions and material integrity that define classic mid-century furniture.
Its presence is commanding without excess—making it equally suited for contemporary interiors, curated mid-century spaces, and transitional environments.
Customization (Bespoke Experience)
The Medallion Coffee Table is fully customizable to suit your project. Available in a range of hardwoods and finishes—including natural walnut, espresso walnut, blackout oak, black ceruse, and bleached white oak—each piece is made to order.
Brass finishes may also be specified to complement your interior palette.
