Description
edish Grace (1920-35) side table lavishly decorated in a variety of exotic wood veneers. The top has a rosewood border which frames a circle of birch in eight sections, each displaying a stylized stem and flower. At the very center is a scene of an elegant woman reclining dressed in clothing of the style of Paul Poiret. The table frame and legs are stained and carved solid birch. The circular lower shelf is finished with two varieties of root wood veneer. Fully restored in excellent condition. Dated on bottom 1933.
