Description
This rare table by Warren McArthur retains it’s original jade green Vitrolite architectural glass top, original anodized aluminum finish and rubber accents. The original Libbey Owens Ford label on the underside of the Vitrolite glass top indicates that this table was produced by the McArthur in Rome New York after 1935 and may have been a special commission. Warren McArthur is considered one of the foremost pre-war American modernist designers, patenting a unique system of connectors to join his aluminum tubular components into sturdy, functional and uniquely designed modernist furniture pieces.
