Description
This early streamline round side table by Warren McArthur can be used as a cocktail table or a side table. The wood has been restored to it’s original hand polished high gloss black lacquer finish. The metal retains it’s excellent original anodized aluminum finish and original decal label. The label indicates that this table was produced in Rome New York after 1933 when Warren McArthur returned to New York from Arizona. Warren McArthur is considered one of the foremost pre-war American modernist designers, patenting a unique system of connectors to join his aluminum tubular components into sturdy, functional and uniquely designed modernist furniture pieces.
