Description
"Drift" Console by William Emmerson One of a kind Materials: Naxos marble.
A floating mass of white marble turned into a piece of functional sculpture representing the beauty behind detachment. Brutalistic design crafted in a unique geometry, mimicking the intricate shapes of an iceberg, of nature afloat.
The Drift is hand sculpted from a single, striking marble block by a skilled artisan that took over a year to create. It celebrates the geometric aesthetics of an iceberg. It is visual and functional masterpiece.
William Emmerson, founder and principal of William Emmerson Inc. is a world-renowned British designer, sculptor, an innovator. He attributes the birth of this multidisciplinary company, known for its unique juxtaposition of the modern and vintage worlds, to his early childhood in London where he grew up watching his father carve and create wooden sculptures. -
