Description
A charming 20th century wrought iron and polychrome tole coffee table, beautifully executed with a graceful garden-inspired design. The circular form is adorned throughout with scrolling ironwork, delicately fashioned into intertwining vines, leaves, and blossoming flowers, all enhanced with soft hand-painted polychrome accents in muted green and floral tones.
The airy pierced gallery rises around the glass top, creating an elegant sense of movement and transparency while showcasing the craftsmanship of the metalwork from every angle. Raised on three slender curved legs joined by scrolling supports, the table possesses a light sculptural quality that makes it equally decorative and functional.
The original painted surface has developed a lovely aged patina, adding depth and romantic character to the floral motifs. Perfect as a coffee table, occasional table, or conservatory accent, this piece brings the elegance of a winter garden indoors, blending artistry, whimsy, and timeless decorative appeal suited to both classic and eclectic interiors.
This is an antique and having been around for a long time, it will show signs of wear. Antique pieces have very much sought-after character and associated flaws. Please review photos for condition & contact us with questions! -
