Description
Important console with slender zoomorphic lines. Its hand-patinated bronze base like thin antennae supports a solid walnut wood top.
High quality manufacturing in Yves and Emmanuel Pagart’s workshops.
Benjamin Pagart lives and works in the effervescence and cultural ferment of his Parisian studio when Yves draws inspiration from the natural riches of the Lot valley, near Cahors.
Their pieces come from the creative fusion of their respective universes. A large blackboard, white sheets, a clod of earth to model, and above all their “treasure box”. Like children, they pick up anything that can inspire them in the mineral, organic and plant world: pebbles, fossils, bones, leaves, flowers, branches, shells… and even a raccoon!
This box is to them what the rhyming dictionary is to the poet. With their hands in the ground or on the board, ideas flow, and in this very exciting game of which they never tire, it is very rare that at the end of the day they have not found some harmonious shapes for their neighbors. art furniture. Yves carefully prepares each prototype for casting and Benjamin takes care of the cabinetmaking and manufacturing.
Bronze and precious woods are their favorite materials. Benjamin Pagart has a double course at the Arts Decoratifs in Strasbourg and a CAP in cabinetmaking. Yves Pagart learned wood and stone sculpture at the Beaux Arts in Valenciennes. -
