American Arts & Crafts Movement Gold Bracelet wit Onyx & Pearls by Frank Gardner Hale.
This is a rare and unique piece handcrafted in the early 20th century by Frank Gardner Hale (1876-1945). This Arts & Crafts period bracelet is in 18Kt yellow gold with Onyx & Pearls. At first glance this looks like a Victorian Bangle upon closer inspection one realizes this hinged bangle, hand made and well designed. Typically Victorian elements were upcycled into wonderful examples of Arts & Crafts period jewelry.

Good Vintage Condition
Frank Gardner Hale (1876-1945) was one of the most important goldsmiths of Arts & Crafts movement. F.G. Hale was a student of C. R. Ashbee's in England, When he returned to America, he taught another of the movement's key figures, Edward Everett Oakes, who apprenticed in Hale's Boston studio. -
