Designed by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co., this marvelous piece compels with its exquisite craftsmanship quality and lavish decor. The brooch depicts a camel and it is made of luxurious 18K yellow gold, embellished with ruby, pearl, and diamonds, and blue enamel.
The master craftsmanship is captured in the attention to detail seen the 18 karat yellow gold that depicts the mimics the camels fur and its tack. The camel's hump is applied with blue paillonne enamel, the pink tourmaline accents its knee, the diamonds are strategically place on the halter and in what suggests a riding blanket, and the pearl plays its part as the camel's head adornment. This brooch is an exquisite piece that would complement the most elegant gown or coat.
