Description
A modernistic sterling silver brooch by William Spratling from the first period 1940-1944. Made in his studio in Taxco, Mexico. The brooch features an abstract woven motif within a border, inspired by indigenous basketry. Stamped verso for William Spratling Made in Mexico logo of that period and Sterling Silver. Simple, bold and make a statement. Also available is an ensuite pair of earrings of the same design.
