These Art Deco double cuff links in silver, lacquer, and "coquille d’œuf" or eggshell lacquer, by Gérard Sandoz, date from the late 1920s. Each double link is designed as a slim silver square inlaid with a geometric lacquer composition in red, black, and coquille d’œuf. With their vibrant color and strong design reminiscent of the abstractions of Cubism, these bold cuff links rise above the medium to convey the innovative power of the 1920s Parisian revolution in visual and decorative arts.
