Designed with 2 very rare cut vintage diamonds of over 7 carats each.
An Old Mine Cut diamond is a vintage diamond cut that was popular during the late 17th century through the early 19th century. It is considered one of the earliest forms of the brilliant cut. The Old Mine Cut has a somewhat cushion-shaped or squarish outline with rounded corners and a high crown. It typically features a small table (the flat top facet of the diamond), a large open culet (the facet at the bottom of the diamond), and a deeper pavilion (the bottom portion of the diamond).
