Description
An Importunate Platinum Fancy Yellow Diamond and Diamond Ear Studs. Each stone approx 3.18 &3.14 carats respectively.
The two flanked by a group of approx four .50 baquette diamonds and four .30 oval diamonds of fine quality. The pair having a total diamond weight 12.72 carats. A Magnificent pair of Earrings each entering upon a cut corner brilliant fancy light yellow diamond of VS Clarity weighing approximately 3.18 & 3.18 Ct Each. The fine center stones accented by 6cts total diamond weight of white oval and baguette diamonds of VS clarity and F/G Color. Provenance: Property of a NYC Socilite Philips de Pury and Company Geneve Magnificent Jewels November 13, 2007 Lot 159 sold for $65,000 plus commission See Philips description below 159 A Pair of Fancy Yellow Diamond Earrings Each designed as a radiant-cut fancy yellow diamond weighing approximately 3.18 and 3.14 carats, within an oval and emerald-cut diamond surround, mounted in platinum and 18K yellow gold, length 1.6 cm. With report nos. AW1101830 dated 22 November 2005 from the European Gemological Laboratory stating that the diamonds weighing 3.18 and 3.14 carats are Fancy Yellow with VVS1 clarity. -
