About the Maker - Monica Marcella began working with jewelry at a very young age, crafting beaded necklaces at the dining room table with her grandmother. Always talking about color combinations, pattern, and feel, Monica’s grandmother became her most important source of inspiration and critical insight. After earning a BFA and MFA in metalsmithing and jewelry design, Monica returned home to New York with a vision - handcrafting future heirlooms, all of which would honor the generosity, love, and legacy that connected her with jewels and gemstones from the very beginning.
