Literature: A popular collection of the late 1980s and 1990s, Paloma Picasso's hand hammered 18K gold flower jewelry appears in the Tiffany Blue Book of 1989-1990, p. 46.
Paloma Picasso, daughter of the great modernist, began her career designing accessories for Yves Saint Laurent in the 1960s. Like Jean Schlumberger, she began creating costume jewelry for him, but was soon hired away by Zolotas, whose designs based on ancient forms helped her develop her feeling for hammered gold. -
