Description
This is such an outrageous and surreal cocktail ring. Currently sized 6 but can easily be sized up or down by a competent jeweler. Close up photo shows a diamond shape cartouche with 750 inside, indicating 18K and an additional touch mark with letters and numbers. Guaranteed to solicit comments and compliments! Made in Italy around 1970s. This beauty represents surrealism at its finest. We believe this surreal design is attributed to Gio Caroli, circa 1977. The ring is covered in a vibrant blue enamel with gold dots as lashes, the iris is beautifully enameled in a sea green, black enamel for the pupil, and the white parts of the eye itself is studded with diamonds. A few small areas of enamel scuffs but not detrimental to the overall condition of the ring. It weighs 19.8 g or 12.8 dwt.
