A striking vintage ladies ring in 14K yellow gold, set with a natural Australian black opal weighing just over 3.50 carats and measuring 14 x 12.3 x 3.7mm. The opal displays a vivid play of color in green, blue and red — a particularly desirable combination and fairly rare in black opal. The setting features decorative enamel work on the sides. Stamped 14K, weighing 5.8 grams. Ring size 6. The opal has some minor surface marks visible under magnification but appears excellent to the unaided eye with no cracks. Very nice condition overall.
