Photographed for LIFE August 1956, models wearing Claire McCardell creations pose in an alpine valley near the village of Lofer, Austria.
The backdrop of church steeples shows the influence of Byzantine architecture.
22" x 32" image on 24" x 36" paper, Edition of 30
