Radi's work is characterized by its highly sculptural forms and abstract, organic shapes. He was particularly interested in exploring the possibilities of clay as a material, and he experimented with a range of firing techniques to achieve his desired results.
 
Radi was a prolific artist, creating a wide range of objects including vases, sculptures, and functional objects such as lamps and ashtrays. He was also known for his collaborations with other artists, including the painter Alberto Burri and the sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro.
