The Barclay Butera Lifestyle Collections represent Butera’s iconic designs incorporated with the products of some of the most recognized licensed partners in the industry: Bradburn Gallery Home lighting, Eastern Accents luxury bedding, decorative pillows, down & mattresses, Highland House furniture, Kravet textiles and carpets, Leftbank Art, Merida natural fiber carpets, Mirror Image Home decorative mirrors, Mirth for decorative hand-crafted wood flooring, and Nourison carpets. And coming January 2016, a spectacular collection of wallcoverings with industry leader Winfield Thybony is set to debut.

Since 1994, Barclay Butera has been the creative force behind his eponymous design firm and showroom in Newport Beach, California. His success in Newport prompted Butera to establish showrooms in Hollywood, California, and Park City, Utah. Butera is renowned for his approachable elegance and glamorous, chic interiors. Barclay Butera’s inspirations are drawn from a diverse variety of grand architecture from coast to coast, European and Far Eastern influences including everything from the high-fashion runways to his far-flung world travels. But, he readily credits old Hollywood and West Palm Beach as among his greatest muses. Butera’s design-signature is distinctive; classic yes, but with a fresh twist that is flawlessly integrated into traditional, transitional and contemporary interiors alike. His artful inclusion of heritage pieces that blend seamlessly alongside distinctive furnishings, pattern-on-pattern fabrics and bold textures are all hallmarks of his iconic all-American style. Butera’s passion for interior design began over two decades ago, and has grown into an impressive lifestyle enterprise that is known and sought after around the world today. In addition to his thriving interior design business, Butera’s most recent venture into licensing has landed him an unprecedented number of the industry’s most respected partners including: Bradburn Gallery Home for lighting, Eastern Accents for bedding, down and mattresses, Highland House for furniture, Kravet textiles, outdoor fabrics and carpets, Leftbank Art, Merida for natural fiber carpets, Mirror Image Home for decorative mirrors, Mirth Studio wood flooring, and Nourison for carpets. Most recently Butera has penned a licensing deal with Winfield Thybony to create a signature line of wall coverings set to debut early 2016. Barclay’s spectacular design projects and his myriad of licensing collections are frequently featured in luxury consumer publications, decor and lifestyle magazines. Butera is also the author of four coffee-table books: Living In Style (Assouline, 2008), Barclay Butera – Living On The Coast (Gibbs-Smith, 2012), Barclay Butera – Getaways and Retreats (Gibbs-Smith, 2013), and Barclay Butera: Past, Present, Inspired (Gibbs-Smith, 2015) a design retrospective.
