A near pair of large and imposing antique cast bronze buddha heads, now presented beautifully on professionally mounted three tier lucite bases. The style of the buddha is typical of Northern Thailand, the former Lana Kingdom. Very tranquil and benevolent expression with downcast eyes, full face and large hair curls. Their flattened tip of the nose and a slightly upturned lips betray a subtle influence from the neighboring Khmer Kingdom. The age of the pieces is our opinion and should be determined by the buyer.

The Buddha head is priced as a pair can be purchased individually for 2800.

Condition:	Excellent. Very fine antique condition, patina of ages, side of the neck and ears have old erosion holes. The two are not identical but similar in size and style and have been displayed as a pair. Wear consistent with age and use.
