Description
A warm and beautifully executed work of art by Magdalene D. Lewis. Born in the mid-1800s to black slaves and very little know about her life. I had other works of art that sold immediately and this was one of my favourite that I kept. Period frame oil on board, signed lower right. Just a great painting!
