Regency Period Rosewood Bookcases

    A pair of boldly figured rosewood open bookcases. They both feature rosewood cross-banding and satinwood edging around the top. There is a tiered top shelf with a brass pierced gallery on three sides which rests on turned brass column supports. Other features include mirrored back panels and two adjustable shelves. Gilded decorative brass mounts and parcel gilding on the molding above the plinth base. This pair of bookcases have beautifully faded over time.
