Rare Marble and Inlaid Brass Table by Pepe Mendoza

Description
An unusual table crafted by Mexican artist Pepe Mendoza, circa 1965. Mendoza normally worked on smaller scale to produce metal works with ceramic inlay as lamps and furniture accessories, so it is rare to see a larger piece like this. A signature work from the designer who used colored ceramic inlay to contrast solid brass. The table features a black marble slab supported by four decorated brass legs with top brass star pattern plates. It can be used as a small coffee table or side table but it is a piece of art on its own.
