Description
This table base is a Paul Evans masterpiece. The monumental table base can easily hold a 10' by 5' piece of glass, but the options are endless. It is comprised of 44 hand-welded sections of varying height, shape, texture and design, none of which is identical all welded into one massive form. Often referred to as the “Skyline” series, the size and scale of this piece are astonishing. This table base has the full Paul Evans signature and 70 indicating the year this unique table base was produced. Paul Evans was a leader in the modern American Craft Movement of the 1970s. Unlike his peers, his important work was predominately expressed in metal, creating by hand sculptural furniture that was infused with detail, color and form.
