Lladro
Spanish
Lladró is a Spanish luxury brand known for its high-quality porcelain figurines and sculptures. The company was founded in 1953 by three brothers, Juan, José, and Vicente Lladró, in the town of Almàssera, near Valencia, Spain. Originally, they started creating ceramic vases and other decorative objects, but soon shifted their focus to creating figurines and sculptures, which became their signature product.
Lladró figurines are characterized by their delicate and intricate details, which are achieved through a combination of traditional artisanal techniques and modern technology. Each piece is handcrafted and painted by skilled artisans, and many of the designs feature elements of nature, such as flowers, animals, and birds. Lladró is also known for its limited edition pieces, which are highly sought after by collectors.
Today, Lladró is a global brand with a presence in over 120 countries, and its products are sold in luxury department stores and boutiques worldwide. In addition to porcelain figurines, the company also produces home decor items, lighting, and jewelry, among other luxury goods.
