Description
Pennsylvania, possibly Delaware, ca. 1750-1765.
Walnut, yellow pine secondary wood.
Condition: Portion of drop-leaf restored, replaced brass, otherwise in fine condition.
This rare diminutive size dressing table has a wonderful figured over-hanging top with notched front corners above one long drawer with two smaller drawers beneath. The well-proportioned case is further embellished with central carved floral-form cartouche and carved shaped skirt supported by cabriole legs ending on carved pad feet. -
