Description
A phenomenal early Italian modernist server in sculpted Italian walnut with hand-carved mahogany bases, black milk glass top, hand-forged solid brass ornamentation and verde marble base with brushed brass reveal. An elegant and functional piece of heirloom quality furniture designed by Vittorio Dassi who was a contemporary of Ico Parisi and Gio Ponti. Three doors open to reveal a single curved adjustable shelf and one conceals a bank of drawers. The overall height to the top of the ornamentation is 51" the height to the top surface of the cabinet is 46". Please contact the gallery for further information.

Period: 1920-1949 Condition: Good. Cabinet is in very good original condition. Normal scratches to the surface of the glass. Some normal light nicks and scratches but nothing that would merit having the piece refinished.. Wear consistent with age and use Styles / Movements: Hollywood Regency, Art Deco, Mid Century Incollect Reference #: 204824 -
