Description
A rare Chippendale form having a serpentine, blocked-end top over-hanging a straight front case with four graduated drawers supported on slightly flared ogee bracket feet.
Dimensions: 34 1/2"h x 37 1/2" w. (case), 41 1/2" (top), 18"d (case), 21"d (top)

Documentation: Signed Origin: United States, Connecticut Period: 18th Century Materials: Cherry, poplar and pine secondary woods. Condition: Over-all in excellent condition with original glue blocks and backboards. Replaced brasses, appear to back in the original holes. Creation Date: Connecticut River Valley, ca. 1770-1785.
