Description
You are viewing a signed (PE70) dining table in exceptional condition from 1970. We believe it is one of the finest examples of this dining table available anywhere. There are no chips, scratches, gouges or any imperfections that we can observe. The surface of the table is expected to be if you were to order it new, straight from the Directional Showroom.
You will understand when you place this dining table in your home, why Paul Evans executed this skyscraper design. When the natural sunlight shines on the towering base blocks at different times of the day, you can see an ever changing facade of the color of bronze. It goes from a deep dark bronze on one side to darker bronze on the other. We tried to capture this effect on camera, please see all the photos. Fritz and Hollander seeks out the best examples for your presentation. This piece was obtained from a collector of fine taste in New York. The base only: 65-inches wide x 25-inches depth x 29-inches high. See full dimensions with glass in this listing. The glass is 3/4-inches thick. As a side note design: We can see this being utilized as a desk for a fashion designer, decorator or an executive of a modern company. -
