Unique Art Deco Armchair by Osvaldo and Gaetano Borsani, 1930, Italy

Description
Wonderful armchair designed and made in Milan by Osvaldo and Gaetano Borsani.
Very unusual Art Deco modernist form in buxes which was a new material used by Borsani in the early 1930s. It was to simulate the cell pattern it a leaf rather than the unusual wood grain in veneer, kind of like a faux finish.
Signed on base. Truly a rare to find. -
