English 19th Century Rush Seat Stool

Description
This excellent little stool comes from England and was made towards the end of the 19th century. The rush seat is in exceptionally wonderful condition given its age and somewhat delicate nature. The four upright supports have all been expertly turned, providing a touch of style to this otherwise utilitarian stool. The four supports are further supported by a low stretcher, which has been timeworn from decades of use and countless boots resting their heels. c.1890.
